“Process Porn”

graphic design & curatorial work

2024

Design is often fetishized for its sophisticated outcomes, its polished forms, and its perfected functionality. This exhibition sought to present the intimate moments that define design: the half-finished sketches, the multiple prototypes, the questions that linger, and the revelations that define each project.

An ode to imperfection, the Process Porn exhibition took place in the neighborhood of Tetuán in Madrid, on December 9th 2024. It featured work from 20 Bachelor in Design students, making the curatorial process an exciting challenge of threading a common narrative between a plurality of different material and audiovisual objects.

The project outcomes consisted of the spatial arrangements of the exhibition space, curatorial elements supporting the exhibition, advertisement design, and a fanzine depicting both the critical and personal process of curating an exhibition.
