The discourse surrounding generative art and the involvement of AI into artistic processes is increasingly becoming a pressing matter of conversation. Art by Algorithm is an exploration on these topics, problematizing the use of AI tools and platforms through the experimental creation of photorealistic generative art pieces.

Through experimenting with different generative models, a process of creative collaboration was critically analyzed and problematized. As AI’s involvement into design platforms and processes increases, it is essential for designers to understand the implications that this has on our work, and on its impact on our society and culture.
